I'm teaming up with the folks from WebAkatemia for a 3-part webinar on writing well.
The first session - 3 May at 1 pm - is about getting rid of mistakes that aren't huge, but they are constant and they make a negative impression. And they aren't too difficult to eliminate.
Session Two - 10 May at 1 pm - is a fresh look at the English verb system. You'll come away with a new perspective on the choices available.
And Session Three - 11 May at 1 pm - focuses on marketing language. Another way we could have put that is 'emotional language.' What are the words and structures that make our reader feel something. If we use 'marketing' as a blanket term for 'persuasion,' we can all use some help!
