Tomorrow morning I have the privilege of speaking at an inter-faith seminar on peace : Stories of Hope and Dialogue. It's a joint seminar sponsored by three local universities of applied science, along with the Helsinki Union of Parishes and the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture.
I'm especially looking forward to hearing from Helsinki's Vice-Mayor, Nazima Razmyar. She's representative of Finland's journey to a multi-cultural future.
My talk, on the other hand, looks backwards at Finland's outsized role in forging peace and keeping peace throughout the first century of its existence.
